Max door count

Every company that loses some owners each year has a ceiling. New doors keep coming in, but a bigger book also loses more doors. At some size, the doors you add only replace the ones you lose, and growth stops.

The numbers below start with a typical example: 100 owner leads a month, 12% of them becoming clients, and 20% of doors lost each year. That company adds 144 doors a year and tops out at 720. Change the numbers to match your own business.

Max door count

720 doors

You'd add 144 doors a year. At a 20% loss rate, new doors only replace lost doors once you reach 720 doors. Past that, growth stops unless you lose fewer doors, win more of your leads, or bring in more leads.

If you cut yearly losses by 5 points, to 15%, the same leads would support 960 doors.
